  5. How do I request a refund?

  6. When will I receive my refund?
    Non-financial aid refunds can take up to eight weeks to process during peak registration periods. If after eight weeks you still haven’t received your refund check, please contact your Accounting Technician directly. Financial aid refunds are processed through BankMobile.   9. What is a Form 1098-T?
    Form 1098-T: Tuition Payments Statement is the information return that colleges and universities are required to issue for the purpose of determining a student's eligibility for the Hope and Lifetime Learning education tax credits.
  10. When will I receive my Form 1098-T?
    Your Form 1098-T will be available on-line via your MyCOM portal around January 31st of the following calendar year in which is being reported. For example, 2016 Form 1098-T's will be available on the Portal around January 31, 2017.
  11. How do I get a copy of my Form 1098-T?
    After signing into your MyCOM Account, select the Student tab. On the main Student tab under the Student Records section located on the left hand side, click on "Tax Notifications." On the next screen, enter the desired tax year and click on the Submit button.
  12. What do I do if the information on the Form 1098-T is incorrect?
    If you believe any of the information noted on the Form 1098-T is incorrect, contact your Accounting Technician immediately. Resolving the discrepancy quickly is important due to the District's IRS reporting requirements.
  13. How do I obtain prior year's Form 1098-T?
    After signing into your MyCOM account, select the Student tab. On the main student tab unthe Student Recordss section located on the left hand side, click on "Tax Notification." On the next screen, enter the prior tax year and click the submit button.
